单词要“随时”背。我们可以把生词做成手抄本，有空就拿出来看看，这样既很好的利用了时间又不觉得枯燥。人的记忆周期是7天，一个单词经过7天的记忆，会掌握的牢固。也就是说，我们前一天背过的单词要在第二天复习，同时“装进”新的单词。第三天复习前两天的单词，同时再“装进”新的单词……直至记牢。我们在背单词的时候，不仅仅要记住拼写，同时还要掌握它的意思及词性。在复习的时候，可以用汉译英或英译汉的方法来考察自己。背下来的单词可以一带而过，但一定要“扫一眼”，重点放在不会的单词上。
