Every year, there are summer camps in my school. I like to take part in this activity, because I can have a good time with my friends. This August I went to a two-week long English camp which was held by English Beacon in Yantai city Shandong Province. There were over a hundred middle school students from all over the country and thirty experts in English teaching participating in this exciting camp.

While we were there it was required that we speak only English to our teachers and with each other. There were many activities which were funny and helped us to strengthen our oral English skills such as the Second Annual National Debate for Middle School Studentsthe Third National English Speech Competition for Middle School Students and English parties. We also visited many places of interest. Learning English was exciting and the teachers were very friendly and helpful. This camp was a real life-changing experience that I will never forget.

Today, we have come to Huangshan, Huangshan District, Huangshan City, Anhui Province, together with the excellent students and leaders of the University, after five and a half hours journey.

Ive heard since I was a child that when the five mountains return, they dont look at the mountains; when the Huangshan Mountains return, they dont look at the mountains. Ive heard of Huangshans reputation for a long time. Today, its true that its well-known: the mountains are surrounded by layers of clouds, like fairylands. In the mountains, there are sparse Hui style buildings with pink walls and black tiles. The distinctive horsehead wall is even more in the green mountains, adding a touch to the picturesque scenery.

After arriving in Anhui, several of our children in Shanghai were not used to the HUICAI there, which was hot and salty. They couldnt help sending messages to their families. Dad said that the first meal was called homesickness rice, because only after eating the foreign dishes, they would think of the home dishes and miss them very much.

Today, we visited the memorial hall of the Red Armys northern Anti Japanese advance team. We feel that the Red Armys spirit of sacrifice in fighting against Japan bravely. The soldiers of the advance team are willing to sacrifice themselves to complete the collective. Without their heroic dedication, how can we have a better life today? They, fearless enemies, won the victory of the revolution.

Huangshan is not only beautiful, but also has profound cultural heritage. 今年暑假，我参加了一个有意思的夏令营。

7月23日，我和爸爸去虹桥火车站，坐上动车到达温岭——英语夏令营的地点。

我们第一天参观了营地，与老师见了面。我们分成六组，按照红、绿、蓝、橙、浅蓝、白，几个颜色组队。我在浅蓝队。这样分组后面一直是活动的团队哦！

每天，我们都有外教老师上课，做活动。我们做了英语卡片，手工陶艺，还举行了一次踩高跷比赛。在营地里，我们分组进行拓展活动，大家爬绳索、过铁桥，争先恐后。

最后一天，我们举行了一场晚会，各个小组都准备了精彩的节目，有的唱冰雪奇缘“Let it go”，有的演英语的《柳林风声》，还有的跳集体舞。我们组的节目是合唱“just fｏｒ you”。老师给每个人都写了评语，还发了奖状。

时间过得好快，夏令营结束了，大家都依依不舍地离开营地回家去。

Now we are enjoying Huamei English summer Camp of 2010 during the hot summer. We like this camp because it’s very beautiful and there are lots of kind teachers here. Especially we have a lot of fun.

We have different kind of classes in this camp, such as Happy English Classes, Cambridge English & Olympic Math Classes and Foreign Teachers’ Classes. We really enjoy the study of English and maths here.

And we also have variety of interesting activities. Every afternoon we have two hours of activity classes or training classes. We have great fun during these classes.

At this camp, besides study we also enjoy some other activities. We can watch movie, buy snacks in the English shop with the dollar given by teachers as prizes, do English dancing, sing English songs, take part in the English Café and some other parties. They are so wonderful and great!

We went to a summer camp today. The weather was great. The mountains were really beautiful. We had great fun singing and dancing there. We had a lot of food and drinks with us. So we had a big lunch. I ate two hamburgers and some orange juice 。 my friends all enjoyed their lunch very much. It was so nice eating in the open air（在户外）。I was really tired but I had a good time.

During the holiday, I joined in the special summer camp with my classmates. There we made some new friends who were senior school students from Kanwei, a town on the T which is to the East of London.

As hosts, we showed them around many places of interest in Beijing, such as the Palace Museum, the Great Wall and the Summer palace and told them about the changings taken place in Beijing. They said Beijing is quite different from whatthey had heard of and it was as beautiful as Kanwei. Meanwhile, they told us about the daily life and study of American students and did their best to help us with our English.

But some of the boys were so noisy we couldn＇t fall alseep. I only slept for three hours. the next morning everybody woke up very early. After exercising in the morning we all went to see the small pigs. On the way there we saw a lot of geese. At 10:00 we went back to eat ice cream. It was so cold. then we all played games together. We ate lunch at 12:00. In the afternoon we played musical instruments and sang. After that camp was over. We had a lot of fun at the summer camp. I am looking forward o going to another summer camp soon.
